Prof. Philip Ebow Bondzi-Simpson is a highly accomplished legal scholar and practitioner who currently serves as the Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). With extensive academic qualifications, including an S.J.D. in Corporate Law and an LLM in Human Rights, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.
Throughout his career, Prof. Bondzi-Simpson has made significant contributions to legal education and consulting, having served as the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Cape Coast and held key positions at institutions such as the Ghana School of Law and the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ).
His leadership and involvement in professional associations further demonstrate his commitment to the development of legal education and the enhancement of higher education institutions. As the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Methodist University Ghana, Prof. Bondzi- Simpson aims to foster stronger collaboration between the church and the university, working towards national development and progress while driving strategic growth for the institution.
